The school year runs from the beginning of September to the beginning of the following June. Kindergarten classes finish in May. Precise starting dates vary from year to year and are staggered to allow the younger year groups to settle in more smoothly.

All National and Religious holidays are observed as specified by the MOE. Parents are notified about other holidays and events through the school year calendar which is issued at the start of the new academic year.
